How We Can Help

Making Milestones offers psychology assessments from qualified and experienced psychologists. Our psychologists offer assessment for a range of cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. Assessments can include cognitive, behavioural and learning assessments, as well as autism and ADHD diagnosis. 

Our Services

Assessments:

Our assessment of children begins with a discussion with family members about the child’s health and development, as well as any parent concerns. Information may also be gathered from other important people in the child’s life such as carers or teachers via online screeners and questionnaires, or phone calls. We then use a range of evidence-based assessments which are chosen based on a child’s age and parent concerns.

Following the assessment, parents are provided with feedback session and a written report, including details about the information gathered, any diagnosis reached, and recommendations for future support.  

Collaborative Approach:

We work together with schools, childcare centres, and other professionals, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, developmental educators and behaviour practitioners. This team approach ensures that your child receives well-rounded support.

Funding Options

Our services are available through NDIS funding, private health, or self-funding. Clients with the right Medicare plan may also be eligible for Medicare benefits.
