Meet The Team

Julia graduated with a degree in Speech Pathology from Flinders University in 2015. She has had some time away from the workforce, raising her two children.

She is currently doing her re-entry training at Making Milestones Welland Clinic. Julia enjoys working with children of all ages, with speech, language and literacy delays and disorders.

Gemma completed her degree in Speech Pathology in 2024 and joined the speech pathology team at Making Milestones in 2025.

Gemma provides support for children with speech and language needs, AAC and feeding challenges at the Welland clinics as well as at local schools, preschools and child care settings.

An worked at Making Milestones from 2024 as an allied health assistant while studying speech pathology. She graduated in 2025 and joins the Making Milestones team in 2026 as a speech pathologist.

An is passionate about supporting people of all ages to develop their communication skills. She works at the Welland clinic and in some local schools and preschools.

Caitlin joined Making Milestones in 2021 and in 2023 took the role of OT Team Leader. This role includes supporting the less experienced OTs to provide the best possible service to their clients while developing their OT practice.

Caitlin has many years experience and a passion for working with children of all ages with a variety of learning difficulties including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She aims to increase independence in activities of daily living, fine and gross motor skills, sensory and emotional regulation and behaviour. She is passionate about working closely with families to provide the best support for children.

Nick completed his studies in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia in 2021. He joined the Making Milestones team as a student working as an Allied Health Assistant and has worked as a qualified Occupational Therapist since 2022.

Nick enjoys working with children of all ages and developing their emotional regulation skills. Nick is a valued and energetic member of the team who also helps run our group programs and student clinics, as well as support our less experienced OTs and AHAs.

Isaac completed his degree in Occupational Therapy at Uni SA in 2023. He worked at Making Milestones as an Allied Health Assistant beginning in 2022 and joined  the team as a qualified Occupational Therapist in 2024.

Isaac works with clients from preschoolers to adolescents in clinic and community settings. He enjoys providing individual support for children to develop daily living and life skills across both our Eyre and Woodville clinic.

Tia completed her studies in Occupational Therapy at UniSA in 2021. She joined the Making Milestones team in 2023 after working in other areas of private practice.

Tia enjoys working with children of all ages and of abilities to develop their fine motor, sensory and emotional regulation, play and social skills.

Tia works in schools, child care centres and homes as well as from our Northern Office at Eyre. In 2026 Tia will take on a role with the OT leadership team supporting our less experienced OTs and our student clinic.

Ella completed her studies in Occupational Therapy in 2024. She joined the Making Milestones team in 2025 after completing her final student placement here in 2024.

Ella enjoys working with children of all ages and of abilities to develop their fine motor, sensory and emotional regulation, play and social skills.

Ella works in schools, child care centres and homes as well as from both our Eyre and Welland clinics.

Maddie graduated from UniSA with a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2025. Prior to this she completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science. Maddie has joined the Making Milestones team in 2026 and works across both Eyre and Welland sites.

Maddie enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities to develop sensory and emotional regulation, as well as play, social and gross motor skills. Outside of work Maddie enjoys taking her dog for walks, catching up with friends and spending time at the beach.

Gina is a social worker with over 25 years of experience.

Gina has extensive experience working with parents and children to support children’s social emotional development and behaviour. She has many years experience in working with First Nations families.

Karen is an experienced psychologist who works at Making Milestones conducting assessments, including ADHD and ASD assessments as well as  supporting other members of our psychology team.

Karen is currently located in Sydney due to family needs and conducts assessments via Zoom in conjunction with other members of our multidisciplinary team.

Kate is a qualified and experienced developmental educator and early childhood educator with experience in working with children who are neurodiverse and who have developmental and sensory challenges. She has been a valued part of the Making Milestones team from the beginning, developing and running our sensory playgroup and school holiday programs.

In 2025 she began offering supports for families with children with behavioural and social emotional challenges as well as further developing our group programs.

Nadine is a qualified and experienced early childhood educator with experience in working with children who are neurodiverse and who have developmental and sensory challenges or learning and literacy challenges.

She joined the Making Milestones team in 2024 and offers supports for families with children with learning, literacy, behavioural and social emotional challenges. She has a special interest in supporting children with dyslexia.

Nadine completed her studies in Positive Behaviour Support at Flinders University in 2025. In 2026 she will work as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner alongside our Senior PBS Clinician to support children and families with behavioural challenges.

Leia is a founding member of Making Milestones who manages the day to day running of the clinic including referrals, bookings, enquiries and billing. Leia has a background in business management and her friendly manner and professional skills keep everything running smoothly.

Leia is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays to support both clients and other team members.

Tammy works alongside Leia to manage the day to day running of the clinic including referrals, bookings, enquiries and billing. Tammy has a background in business management. Her friendly manner and passion for supporting both staff and clients is a great asset to our team. Tammy has also completed study to be an Allied Health Assistant focusing on speech pathology support.

Tammy is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to support both clients and other team members.

Cathy has many years experience in finance and has been supporting Making Milestones from the beginning. She joined the team full-time in 2022 and supports both clients and team members with all aspects of accounts and finance.

Cathy is available Mondays through to Thursdays at the Welland office.

Sophie is the main receptionist at the Eyre office and works alongside Georgette to manage the day to day running of the Eyre clinic supporting both our northern clients and clinicians. Sophie has worked in allied health and private practice for a number of years and is both friendly and efficient.

Sophie is available most mornings at our Eyre to support both clients and other team members.

Lisa has many years experience in a business setting and works as the main receptionist at our Welland clinic. Lisa supports both clients and staff with tasks such as bookings, and invoicing.

Lisa is available Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at the Welland office.

Tania works alongside Lisa as the receptionist at our Welland clinic. Tania supports both clients and staff with tasks such as bookings, and invoicing.

Tania is available Mondays and Thursdays at the Welland office.

Georgette works alongside Sophie as the receptionist at our Eyre clinic. Georgina supports both clients and staff with tasks such as bookings, and invoicing.

Cynthia is currently studying her final year of Speech Pathology at UniSA. She enjoys supporting people of all ages with their communication skills in schools, clinic and child care.

Leah is currently studying Occupational Therapy. She is keen to support people of all ages to develop their motor skills, self care skills, daily living skills and to support social emotional development.

Leah joined the Making Milestones team in 2024 and works as an Allied Health Assistant providing individual support for children to develop under the direction of our clinicians at our Welland clinic.

Clarice is currently studying Speech Pathology at Flinders University. She looks forward to supporting people of all ages with their communication skills but particularly enjoys working with kids!

Clarice joined the Making Milestones team in 2024 as an Allied Health Assistant providing individual support for children to develop their communication skills under the direction of our clinicians at our Eyre clinic.

Chanel is currently studying her final year of Speech Pathology. She enjoys supporting children of all ages with their communication skills in schools, and child care.

Grazia is currently studying Occupational Therapy. She is keen to support children to develop their social emotional development, regulation, fine motor and daily living skills.

Grazia joined the Making Milestones team in 2025 and works as an Allied Health Assistant providing individual support for children to develop under the direction of our clinicians.

Shae is currently studying Psychology. She looks forward to supporting children with their social emotional development and behaviour.

Shae has worked on reception and in playgroup since 2024 and in 2026 is expanding her role as. an allied health assistant under the direction of our clinicians at our Eyre clinic.

Sebastian is currently studying his final year of Speech Pathology. He enjoys supporting people of all ages with their communication skills in schools, clinic and child care.

Amber is currently studying Developmental Education. She is keen to support children to develop their overall learning and development.

Amber joined the Making Milestones team in 2026 and works as an Allied Health Assistant providing individual support for children to develop under the direction of our clinicians.

Ava joins the Making Milestones team in 2026 and works as an Allied Health Assistant providing individual support for children to develop under the direction of our clinicians.

Monica is currently studying her final year of Speech Pathology (Honours). She is passionate about supporting children to develop their communication skills to increase their participation in daily life.
